BIOGRAPHY

From her early years, Adriana Paquete showed great interest for the Performing Arts and, at the tender age of 12 years olds, she starred in Filipe La Féria’s musical “Annie”.

At 15, Adriana was invited to sing Fado for the very first time and hasn’t stopped ever since. In the same year, she won the Fado contest from União de Freguesias de Lordelo do Ouro e Massarelos.

In 2016, she won “Porto Canal” and “Rádio Festival”’s Fado contest, which gave her direct access to Caixa Ribeira Porto festival.

Nowadays, one can find Adriana Paquete singing in Fado houses, restaurants, casinos and concert venues. To describe her passion for Fado, she resorts to the verses of José Fernandes Castro: “All my past is lined with pure Fado. My past is Fado and Fado is my future”.
